On this CD we can hear the live recordings of the Dutch genius pianist of whom we were worried that he pauzed his activities. His genius piano playing takes us totally into his world and we forget ourselves completely.

An other CD from 1997 has been released here in 2003 and has got very good reviews.On this CD there are three tunes with piano trio and three with quartet which include the tenor saxophone. This time too we hear dynamic, modal, virtuoso and strong playing. I heard that Rook now also plays in a trio with Dutch national traesures Han Bennink and Ernst Glerum. This must be really cool! I hope they will be recording soon with this trio.
